Neocities is a convenient hosting location until the Party needs to and/or has the means to move to a dedicated Party server. Website needs will likely be small enough in data to not require paid services, and the amount of hits will likely also remain low enough to not cause issues either, and Neocities offers a low-cost paid service which would drastically increase website capabilities. Neocities is also open source, allows manual coding instead of website building (for example, the Socialist Party USA uses Wix for their website, an Israeli software company), allows handle embedding for social media, allows subdomains, has no advertisments (the integration of the Neocities mascot, Penelope, is also optional), and allows custom crawler filtering.
